The Challenge

Kelly was starting her business from scratch. She wanted an eye-catching brand identity that told the story of her vision: a holistic woman-owned fitness company that exuded strength, but not the usual sterile training outfit. Strength to her is warmth, compassion, and comradery. And still bad ass, of course.

The Work

The most important work we did was conversation—I spoke extensively to Kelly about her dream company, her goals, and what got her here. Her combination of grit and grace was inspiring. I knew we needed a strong brand to lead us through digital, print, social, and in-person engagements.

The Solution

One part long-lunch with a friend, one part punk, I designed a logo and marketing package for her that conveyed stability, health, and literal heart—passion with just the right amount of edge. Welcome to the world, Full Body Fitness.

Hello again.

As a graphic designer with comedy and editorial writing experience, my work is both dynamic and authentic—whether it’s visually, linguistically, or both, I adapt to communicate in your voice, across any media or platform. 

Through my consulting work, I have robust experience writing press releases, and developing sales, web, and deck language. Whether you’re a start-up wellness brand, an established comedy outfit looking for career image-building, or a nonprofit advocating for the public good, I create strategic marketing that fits your unique personality and communication needs. 

I worked as an art director for nearly a decade at a major publishing house in New York, as well as in the wild, consulting for brands and people alike. As an art director, I project-managed book covers + jackets from concept to printed product. This included everything from managing designers, series style creation, artist/photography commission and contracting, to prepress, and on-press oversight. I have also worked in magazine publishing, in both art + editorial. I have pitched and written stories, done copywriting, proofreading, and editing. 

I now live in the Pacific Northwest with two humans + one large dog.

I am a visual storyteller who is passionate about creating effective messaging at the intersection of Image + Word.
